Where It All Began
I didn’t always know I wanted to write for children, but I’ve always known I wanted to tell stories. Maybe getting older has helped me see just how tough things are for young people today. The noise, the pressure, and the speed of it all.
After self-publishing a couple of novels and working as a web designer for small businesses, I felt a pull: toward children’s literature, toward traditional publishing, and toward a more meaningful creative life. One where I could build something lasting, and learn out loud as I go.
Before shifting into publishing, I spent several years working as a web and graphic designer, helping small businesses and creative professionals shape their digital presence. I’ve also worked in fine art galleries, curated visual displays, and collaborated with editors to bring stories and branding to life.
These experiences taught me how to tell a story — not just through words, but through design, tone, and emotional clarity. Now, I’m putting all of it into the stories I want to tell for young readers.
That’s what this site is. A journal. A home. A path in progress. If any of this resonates, I’d love to stay in touch. You can join my monthly(ish) newsletter, filled with quiet updates from my writing desk, reflections on publishing, and behind-the-scenes scrolls from the worlds I’m slowly growing.
